2009 C63 AMG Black on Black PP Package CF fully loaded
This is true, you'd never know they might ship 19's mixed with 18's at a discounted price...

You guys have to stop blaming MB/Daimler AG and AMG for this P30 error. The blame falls squarely on MBUSA and the codes they provided to MB AG for the builds they requested. The early C63's with P30 were built exactly as requested. If it was an error on MB AG's part this would be a Global issue and not just isolated to the US market. Clearly this hasn't happened.

Just my early weekend Rant after dealing with "F--king Idiots" at work all week... Forgive me

P.S: Oh forgot to tell you that the 19" AMG 16 spoke (OEM European P30 wheel) that I purchased for summer use arrived at the dealer yesterday. They will be mounted on delivery with P-Zeros. (19.35.235F / 19.30.265R). My dealer is doing an straight swap with the OEM P-Zero "Take-offs" for the new Pirelli Winter W240-Sottozero Series II (18.40.235 F&R)

This is not an inexpensive solution but what I think is a very viable and solid alternative. There are few things worse then seeing an AMG (or similar) performance car on the road in winter with cheap aftermarket wheels.

NOW I just need to get delivery of the car LOL (est. 59 days and counting)

I think the ones that want the 19s like myself only want to pay a small upcharge (ala M3) and not "thousands" like yourself. Living in the west, we are lucky for only needing one set of tires for all year round use. I for one, do not need an extra set of wheels/tires lying around.

Typical 030 package complete wheel upgrade in North America (ie: E63, CLS63, SL63) is a $10,800 to $18,500 option. A C63 P30 package in Germany with wheels and CF works out to about $10.9k with todays exchange rates My P30 "Complete" P30 package is $6500 including CF trim so an extra $4600 for the 19" wheel and tire isn't too out of whack and the upshot is the extra wheels to do with as you want.... Dealer did give me the option of swapping the take off' tires for the 19" P-Zeros as well but the dollars worked out better if I purchased them on my own and used the dealer for the snows..

its all relative to getting what you pay for......

LOL.

It should be a $1200 option like the M3. Let's face it, MBUSA hasn't been too accomadating to the NA customer.

So true. Its like the don't even look at the competition. Having keyless go available in canada, but not in the us? Its such a standard thing on so many american cars now I dont see any reason to hold it back.

I hear you, This whole fiasco around the P30 missing components has been mishandled from the get go. MBUSA had a great opportunity to to further the AMG Brand and get some great PR out of a bad situation. They missed the boat. Too little too late.

Fortunately here in Canada we (at least I am) are having the opposite experience. MB Canada has been VERY accommodating at every turn lately. (It hasn't always been so) Lets hope they stay this way
