I stopped by a dealer and spoke to a salesman who told me that Mercedes was electronically limiting the HP by 100 down to 351 for the first 1000 miles. I had to ask him if he was sure. He didn't waiver. I call

Anyone else heard of that?

In my business travels, I remember running into a sales person saying the same exact thing. My comment to him was "Oh Yeah" and walked away quickly....

If I recall(would have to do a search) a "new" C63 owner put his car on the dyno and measured in the high 300's for rwhp so the salesman's comments make no sense.

Not true at all, but for what it's worth I would put a few hundred miles on it before I beat on it...not saying you have to drive like a grandma, but I would let the motor get a few heat cycles in it before thrashing on it.
