The 2009 operators manual doe snot distinguish that so I am assuming same spare unless the PP option comes with a different operators manual, which is possible. BTW the OP manual for MB is crap and the worst I have ever owned.... not very user friendly.

The only car which I had a full sized spare was my E36 M3. It came with an M Countour wheel that was 7.5" wide. Although the rear wheels were 8.5" wide, they included the smaller of the staggered wheels for obvious reasons. Oh well...

ist safe if I provide a temporary donut tire and use it , in case I got a flat tire in all sititation.

My old VW had a full size spare.. I miss it.. in fact. it was identical to the mounted tires/rim, so all I had to do is put on the spare, fix the dmg'd tire, and toss that one in the trunk as the new spare...
Also.. I hate run flats.. take any donut over them...

Most car manufacturers don't equip their vehicles with spares or donuts due to cost and weight. Another reason, is they some cars just don't have room for a spare. Most cars come with TPMS, to tell you when you losing air. And also all cars nowadays are equipped have run flat tires. I prefer a spare or donut to run flats anyday. Run Flats ride hard, don't absorb bumps, give a jarring ride, and cost a arm and a leg to replace.
