C 63 Spare Tire

Some AMG models do not come with a spare tire. What about the C63? Full size, inflatable or no spare?

It is a mini spare tire (T 125/70 R18) same as what the C Class comes with but in 18"

The 2009 operators manual doe snot distinguish that so I am assuming same spare unless the PP option comes with a different operators manual, which is possible. BTW the OP manual for MB is crap and the worst I have ever owned.... not very user friendly.

My E63 has the PP option and it did come with a spare tire. Not a full size, but a temporary "donut" replacement until the actual tire is fixed.

Eeew. Is that the "goo" that Last Emperor was referring to?

Also, is it any different from automatic doe snot?

09 C63 (Coming Soon)
The only car which I had a full sized spare was my E36 M3. It came with an M Countour wheel that was 7.5" wide. Although the rear wheels were 8.5" wide, they included the smaller of the staggered wheels for obvious reasons. Oh well...

Does it come with chocolate.... I prefer my minty goodness with chocolate.. otherwise no deal

This thread is full of spelling fail.. its awesome

My old VW had a full size spare.. I miss it.. in fact. it was identical to the mounted tires/rim, so all I had to do is put on the spare, fix the dmg'd tire, and toss that one in the trunk as the new spare...

Also.. I hate run flats.. take any donut over them...

Most car manufacturers don't equip their vehicles with spares or donuts due to cost and weight. Another reason, is they some cars just don't have room for a spare. Most cars come with TPMS, to tell you when you losing air. And also all cars nowadays are equipped have run flat tires. I prefer a spare or donut to run flats anyday. Run Flats ride hard, don't absorb bumps, give a jarring ride, and cost a arm and a leg to replace.
