I apologize in advance for this 'noob' question but when did you guys generally first top up the oil in your 63's? I've done roughly 1200 miles now and havn't topped up... Normally i wouldn't post such a question however i'm on holiday so cannot check the oil.

Will check it first thing i get back and top up as neccessary but would be nice if someone could let me know if i will most probably need to top it up- so i can have some oil ordered and waiting to be put in as soon as i get back.

Cant stop thinkin about my beast even while im on holiday!

every engine differs on oil consumption. Your car will tell you when it's low on oil. It is safe to wait until that time, and add oil when you get the warning message.

 

e1000 is right. I had a low indictcator at 2k and it swallowed a full qt. I've heard others more/less... If your worried about waiting for the gauge check the dip stick and add slowly so you don't overfill.
