Is the steering wheel supposed to move in and out when getting in and out of the car?

I did a search and I "enabled" the the setting in the menu, but it still doesnt work. The steering wheel does move, to my preferred position, when I hit the memory seat button (which sux cause you have to hold it down). But when I exit or enter the car it stays in the same position it was left in.

Any tips?

On your streeing wheel there are buttons that will allow you to go to settings. Then you can set it to easy entry/exit. This will move the wheel out of the way when getting in or out of the car. It will go to your driving position when you start the car.

It only moves the wheel up - which, interestingly is useless for someone like me who is 6'4" as the wheel is naturally at the top position. I wish it moved in/out.

About keeping your finger on the button till the seat is in place. I think this is due to you being in the seat. Pressing the button while you are still outside might work. At least that's how it is in my BMW.

It depends on where you position you seat. There comes a point where your seat is about 3/5 the way back that this feature is disabled. Try moving the seat a little closer to the front to enable the feature.
