Media interface not available on Canadian models until November production?

Media interface not available on Canadian models until November production?
My dealer just phoned me to say none of the Canadian 09 C63's will include the media interface until November production. I'm currently scheduled for September build. So, my choice is either to wait or bypass the media interface and just take the car as is.
Has anyone else heard about this?

I asked about the availability of the Media Kit the day it was announced back in April and was told none for Canadian builds til October. With the COMAND option it should be an easy set up once the parts are available. Just like the iPod integration on C55's. Bonus is then you can run the connection cable wherever you want in the car and not only in the glove box....
