Hey All -
First off I did use the search tool
I am trying to find out if there is any update on the iPhone integration kit with our cars? Has anybody heard more about it?

Didn't think you could play music through the Bluetooth. I know that was glitch with the first generation iPhone. Pretty sure it was removed with the first software updates. They should have made an on-screen interface. MB Orlando told me they changed it on the SL63 and you have an on-screen interface. BTW the SL63 looked good but don't think I would spend $ on it. Not in the first year anyway. Car is just too heavy. I digress.

I already have enough hard time finding a place to store my belongings in the car (keychain, glasses, a few cd cases, etc.) If I were to add this iPhone integration package, I guess I have to look for a new box to buy and fit somewhere under the seat.. ohh wait.. there is no space!

i had that problem, bring your car to service and tell them about it and they will fix it. dont know what they do but they fixed mine.

you cant doit with the iphone you have to store the number with another phone. i have a 2nd phone which is a lg verizon. i had to store all my number from the lg to the car. then you sync your iphone and the number are still ther. you can the use with your i phone. if you need more info on how to doit step my step let me no ill be happy to help. (you do need another phone besides the iphone to do this) i dont know which other phone you need i know the lg work (the 2nd phone does not have to be in service to do this it need b/t)

Range Rover Supercharged, C63 AMG Tenorite grey.
I have an iphone went to my local dealer and he fitted the iphone cradle to the telephone prewire in the centre console. I attached my iphone to the cradle and it came up with the option to transfer all my contacts to the vehicle hard drive, this took two mins and now all my contacts are on screen.
Once done the dealer quite happily took the cradle back out of the car, job done and no charge!!
I could not see the point in the cradle after this was done as it is basically a £205.00 phone charger/holder and the standard bluetooth works perfectly.
If you want the cradle to play your music you still need to purchase the ipod intergration kit on top of the cradle and there is a lead on the cradle that connects to the intergration kit, total price £700.00, $1400.00!! in the UK.
I have chosen to burn my music to DVD and place it in the changer, alot cheaper.
