Since I had to go with a backup rather than the one I ordered, the car I am getting doesn't have the NAV system. I don't get the car until later this week, but the audio shop would like to see what the setup looks like so they can plan for parts and install. All the pictures on the net show an interior with the NAV screen.

The good news is I can get an aftermarket Pioneer unit with Garmin GPS, plays DVD's, has Ipod integration, Sirius satellite radio installed for about $1,600!!! That saves me almost $2,000 over the stock option and gets me more!!!

I don't think a Pioneer is going to fit. Its a really small screen area.

So that is a stock C63 dash/radio area without the NAV option? If so, what is the screen at the top? Radio screen?

Yes, its the radio screen.

Sorry, but am I understanding correctly? The radio screen is above the vents and the radio controls are below the vents???

Yes sir. Also you control with the "idrive" button in the center console
