Anything with BOOST
At the dragstrip your going to want to stage the car properly by shutting off the ESP and by placing the car in 'S' mode. Powerbrake the car just prior to rear tires breaking traction. Once the last yellow bulb is lit, let it loose.

Even though burnouts in the box are crowd pleasers, as long as your on stock rubber I would suggest light burnout on the inside edge of the box (closest to the tree) and complete the burnout on the dryside. This will help you avoid bringing in water into the tires and up to the light. Stock tires aren't designed to need additional heat to provide maximum traction.

Hope this helps.

100% rite but with stock street tires. some tires tend to lose tracktion when heated up. and make sure you have gas in the car when going to the track at least half a tank. if you think going ther with the least posible gas youor car will bog. i ran a 12.8 on my car with less then 1 gallon in the car . soon as the car was let loose it would dip down and then take off loosing a couple 10 tenths of sec. and make sure you dont go when it to hot.

a car without LSD can't really do much of a burnout anyway whether their on stock tires or not correct?

is it plausible to say that shifting perfectly in M mode can yield a better time than in S mode?

The shifts are quicker in M mode but they're so inconsistant it would take an act of God to hit them all at redline. That's juts one of the issues our tuning resolves, consistant shifting with no lag.

Thanks
Andy

No, just tire wear and some melted rubber coating the rear valance. Easy enough to clean off.

That being said I agree with the above in that heating street radials is a waste. DRs or slicks is a different story.

Personally I had better runs on street thread after heating them up and I tried the cold way I think it depends on Driver most.

The fake "electronic" LSD works pretty good on my C32 my burnouts leave equal 15' patches anywhere...

the question is...

why the car is so inconsistant?? is a bug from mercedes?
inconsistant and when you change in the paddle it takes like 1 hour to change. the change is fast, but the time to understand that you want another gear... welll what a LAG!... WHY??
