Mods on C63
Trickiest part was getting the new covers to clip on properly to the light housing/bracket that goes on the inside... and also trying not to burn myself because I was too impatient to wait for engine to cool off.
Be very careful with the new mirrored bulbs (if you get them) I broke one of mine trying to seat it in the socket.

17??!! There is no way you are mature enough for this car unless you have grown up karting and racing on road courses. Like the other poster said you better get your teenager *** to a driving school. I have owned a Porsche Turbo and 2 Porsche GT3's and now this. The ONE thing I learned by going to the track is that I knew 99% less about driving than I thought I did. There is no way to duplicate driving a car like this in an emergency situation other than with driving instructions at a high performance track. The
cemeteries are littered with teenage carcasses who KNEW they knew how to drive a car smartly. This is one of the most powerful cars on the planet and it takes maturity beyond your years to drive it like an adult. I let my 18 year old who I thought was VERY mature for his
age drive my X5 to a job interview. One drive one ticket for 102 in a 65.
And before you tell me I dont know YOU, well I have coached basketball and baseball at the high school varsity level So I do know kids
not to mention I have 2 boys one 19.

and what paulGT3 mentioned above is relatively true.. when you're young and you have a fast car.. you think you're the bomb.. just be careful and don't get intimidated with people and things around you.
go and participate in go-kart races (rotax max is a good way to learn how to drive and especially in emergency situations), advance and defensive driving schools are also a good way to learn.
speaking of which, will be racing my kart at the end of next month! wish me luck!!!

well, at the pit for that matter!!!
You youngsters get yourself some instruction. thats better than ANY mods you can do to your car. Learning how to drive with almost 500hp is better than spending $ on 600hp.
There is something else you share aside from good taste in cars, you are both Gator Bait.
Go Gators!
Remember you might be a good driver but the people around you may not!
Step 1: Remove any large, unnecessary items from the trunk, or back seat. If you don't intend for people to see your trunk, take cosmetic items like carpeting and plastic out, leaving a relatively bare trunk.
Step 2: Remove the spare wheel. Do this only if you are confident in the integrity of your tires, or you don't mind getting towed if you get a flat.
Step 3: If you have a hatchback, remove the back seats. This will significantly reduce weight. mind you, there is only 1 extra seat left if you do this. The seat back seats should be pretty easy to put in if you need it.
Step 4: pop the hood and take out any unnecessary plastic. Take out the engine cover, any extraneous plastic that does no good.
Step 5: For further weight reduction, take out the side passenger seat.
Step 6: There are many other things you can do to reduce weight but these involve the removal of cosmetic and structural parts and is not recommended.
Step 7: Enjoy your lighter, faster and more fuel efficient vehicle!
