MHP C63 vs Stock C63 & Gallardo Vids

After driving the MHP car first hand, I can tell you guys that the part throttle acceleration (60-70%) feels similar to my car at full throttle and in 4th gear at 100-120 the car pulls like a freight train. The shifts are seemless and firm, and certainly help build that midrange and top-end power that is slightly absent in our factory cars. Kudos to Andy for the development of the program, and after driving the car back to back it is easy to see the difference.

To put this in perspective MHP C63 put a car length on the Gallardo from 20 until about 80. Not until over 100 did the Gallardo really start to pull away.

One question and excuse my ignorance. What components does the MHP stage 1 kit actually has? Is it just an ECU tune? What's the flywheel hp/tq it pumps you up to?

The MHP Stage I kit consists of:

1) ECU/TCU Tuning

2) Thermal intake gaskets

3) Drop in filters

We just made 427rwhp/394rwtq SAE on a dynojet from tuning v1 (up from 373-376rwhp SAE on a DJ) and are shooting for 440rwhp/400rwtq+ this week from v2.

dam only one vid works fer me!!! Flipping connection?? Whats the scoop? Anyone else having probs viewing.

You can hera the stocker shifting out too early in the first vid. Looks like stocker got the jump and got reeled in passed by 3 cars and the lead grows as speed increased.

Gallardo pulls away, better off from a dig vs a G. Launches are killing you Andy, you likely have 6 cars on the stocker if you attained traction.

Juicee, yes it definitely appears vader's car shifted out of first early (I no longer have that problem) and you're again right about my launches, the Nittos suck.
The plan is to test v2 tuning this Friday at the track with MT DRs instead of the junk Nittos I have on now.
Not sure why you can only see the first vid, I just tested them again and they all work for me.
I think we both would've loved to have gone from a dig with the Gallardo as well, but we were on borrowed time so to speak as it was.

As much as I'd love to think that reg. the haters, there will always be haters, and they will always hate. Just part of life I guess...

If you know of anyone in the area, I'd love to meet up for some friendly runs. I think Rock is going to come down to our track rental in 3-4 weeks with his stage 3 E55 (we were door to door from 50-130, 4x two weekends ago), but I'd love to run a stocker.

I was curious- am I probably right in stating that your tune will only be available to those that are relatively close by to you... is that right? Im the UK.... what do i do if im interested?

Andy, your V1 tuning looks amazing as it is already, I can't even imagine what V2 will do It is very helpful seeing a stock vs tuned runs like this because it helps us gauge how much improvement the tune provided.

NP on the vids guys. As always, the quality leaves something to be desired however, you guys get the point. First hand, I can say the MHP tuned car is really strong. After my intial test drive, the MHP car pulled so hard from 90-120 I knew it would be real close in the Gallardo. Too close

As far as the race from the dig, I actually got the jump on Andy. To put that in perspective, my .3-.5 head start evaporated and was behind about 4 car lengths in the quarter or at about 115. That easily is 0.5 secs quicker in 1/4.
It really was impressive.
