After being disappointed in my Shifting....

This car is getting scary!! In a good way! I have been driving in sport
99% of the time and shifting when I feel like it. But now the car has
like a 6th sense. When I find a curve out here in the desert, I drive
it in hard. And when I go to shift it, the car is ahead of me by about
100 ms. I am finding just when I hit the up shift or down shift the car
has already shifted for me. Its getting really good. Either the tranny
is learning my shifting or its a freaking clairvoyant ECU! Man its become
a whole lot of fun. I have 1500 miles I never drive in stop and go traffic
and as soon as I get aggressive the car does so too.
I hope it doesnt change. I know todays cars have trannys that learn but
this is getting way too fun.

I did most of my "break in period" in C, but when I did put it in S I drove it fairly hard. Consequently, my S shifts exactly at redline for WOT. No partial-redline shifts for me.

I notice the car will shift for me in 1-2 early because redline comes fast.
but the rest of the shifting is around 6000RPM

I am used to the adaptive tranny from my C55. The car will "relearn" your driving pattern in short order, even within a couple of hard accelerations in quick succession. It is even better on my C63. No need to reset the throttle as previously posted in other threads. The tranny really seems to find the right gear, 90% of the time or better!
