New Look - AMG Badge
Bought an Ebay AMG emblem sticker....the picture sucks but if you see it in person it looks really good..its a ***** to do this, i scrapped the star for half hour and i got a booboo for doing this. Scrapped the star so i can lay flat the AMG emblem sticker ....should i smoke the outer portion or just leave it blue like that. What you think?

Actually there is one person who makes the AMG badge MARIO DONATI! a fellow member.
only sells his product through word of mouth and will never be sold on eBay
it fits perfectly on our W204's
proper raised brass badge, not gel coated and cheap like the eBay ones
here are some photos:

I have the badge available. The badge is made of heavy, chrome-plated brass with the color AMG/Affalterbach logo. Its 45mm diameter is designed to fit precisely the recessed hole in your hood when your original MB Star is removed. It mounts in 10 minutes, using a series of rubber and metal fender washers. It secures using a threaded post along with a wing nut – NO sticky tape or epoxy. Once mounted, a drop of LocTite is recommended to secure the wing nut. All mounting hardware is included.

I emailed Mario back in May looking for his emblem in a 57mm size and he said there was no plans to make one. I have already emailed him again to see if it is now available...or not.

I got one of ebay......I know it's not the right size and it does look better in the flesh. Anyway it's very easy to swap out so i'll see if it grows on me.

Wow man, that looks funky..The Best one for black cars is the black AMG one that just have the AMG Logo.I use it..so that means it's best..

I purchased an AMG Hood Badge from Mario last month in anticipation of my spring delivery, and I must say that it's a beautiful piece. The discussion regarding 45mm (which mine is) and 57mm got me wondering... so I emailed Mario to ask if it would fit my C63. His reply was:
"I have no idea."
