I just came back from the US border and hwy 99 and 91 are snow covered and traffic is really slow...check out the webcams

I going to say a really maybe for tomorrow, pending road and weather conditions. The snow is sticking on the roads.

I don't mind meeting up, but not sure if it's worthwhile driving down to the border. Let's keep an eye on the weather, and I'll email everybody tomorrow morning to see how we want to play it.

Immediately, what springs to mind is that Canadian Tire TV commercial where the robbers are pushing their getaway car in the snow while the cops, right behind them, are also pushing their own car in the snow as they try to chase the bad guys.

Anyway, I read on the snow tire thread that you can put 235/40ZR-18 snow tires even on the stock rear wheels (9 x 18). Is that for real?

You're not going to believe this, Vince, but I just did exactly the same thing! I had to make an ice-cream run, if you'd believe that, and it was absolutely hilarious out there. I definitely have to get the snows on the C63 if there's any chance of driving that thing through the winter.

Anyway, seeing as the weather and road conditions are what they are, I'm afraid the meet will not take place as scheduled. Of course, if the diehards amongst us would still like to get together at Lansdowne to chat over a coffee or whatever, please don't let me stop you.
Meanwhile, we can think about where we'd like to go for our next gathering when warmer climes return.
