curbed it hard, bent a lower control arm and a coupla other pieces. new parts + wheel should be installed on friday, hopefully can get it aligned then as well.

Well it’s that time of the year again! UBCSCC is excited to announce that with the overwhelming success of last year’s track days, we will be bringing three dates at Mission to our membership in 2009.

Mission Raceway Date #1: Wednesday, May 6th
Registration opens: Sunday, April 5th
Registration closes: Sunday, April 26th

Mission Raceway Date #2: Monday, June 1st
Registration opens: Sunday, May 3rd
Registration closes: Sunday, May 24th

Mission Raceway Date #3: Monday, July 6th
Registration opens: Sunday, June 7th
Registration closes: Sunday, June 28th

Novice Allowed?

because VCMC are doing no novice as i believe

I believe novices are allowed for both VCMC and UBCSCC, logic dictates that everyone who are veterans were once novice so I don't see how they are limiting it to seasoned drivers. I've attended one of these and basically you sign up in groups A,B,C,D with A being the most advanced and fastest and D being first timers. I was a novice when I did one of these last summer and drove in Group D. These events are truly a blast for everyone who likes to push these incredible machines in a safe enviroment.

VCMC is only having 3 events so far for test events

The neighbour hood complained and didnt want them there to race or something

and they have to prove they arnt that loud... so cars have to be under like 98 DB or something i heard and discussed with a friend today!

I think what you are talking about is the autocross events held in Maple Ridge airport, not the actual road course in Mission.

time to re-insure car tomorrow and off to the meets.

As far as I can tell, having tires is usually a prerequisite for coming out to meets.

Okay, just so you know, we don't street race at these meets. We do go for a cruise, but nothing crazy (okay, those of you who've been to these, just keep your mouths shut ). I just don't want you to get the wrong idea as to what's in store at these gatherings.
