I just realized that Smellinor's IS-F looks as dirty in pictures as it does in real life. Gotta get him to run that thing through a car wash or something next time.

Oh, you don't even know the half of it, Mr. Testing. We were rolling along on the highway, going through an uphill stretch, when 30 or 40 fast motorcycles suddenly appeared ahead of us. We caught up to them and they pretty much all pulled over to the right to let us through. That's where the female cop (who was very nice later on when she eventually caught up to us) on the other side of the road saw us. She must have made a u-turn somewhere and radioed for a colleague to block the road in front of us, which he duly did.
They blocked the entire highway and pulled over 6 of the 16 cars that were in our group (along with a 7th car [the SLK350 that wasn't part of our group] that was a completely innocent bystander) along with about 20 of the motorcycles.
As it turned out, no one got a speeding ticket, not our group nor any of the motorcycles. Both of the officers were very nice, but they did hold us up for about 30 or 40 minutes while they decided what they should do. I guess they wanted us to cool our heels a bit.
Seriously though, we weren't going very fast. It was just one stretch where the driving got a bit more spirited. Otherwise, it was just your regular everyday run-of-the-mill Saturday cruise!
