Also, does anyone have any suggestions or preference for the locale of our next meet?
I'm certainly open to ideas.

im in for fridays meet, weather permitting.
i think a longer hwy route needs to be figured out.
try to hit roads a little less congested.
i also think a drive into the US is in order
a saturday drive would be nice and then stay overnight and hit the drag strip on sunday morning. they have test and tunes on certain days. (next ones are on march 15 and 29) these are open to street cars so we are good to go!
a dyno would also be nice!

I think I'll do some reconnaissance work this weekend to look for a nice canyon run somewhere not too far.

u can keep places just past the border in mind as well since its not much farther than white rock.
we dont always have to go all the way down to seattle.
its too bad we dont have a place like mexico nearby for us to go to.
Off-topic (do we even have a topic?)...but I just came back from No. 1 Collision Repair on Vulcan Way in Richmond. There are 4 (count them, 4) e92 M3s there being repaired. All of them have suffered heavy heavy damage. I strongly recommend thinking twice if any of your Vancouverites are thinking of picking up a used M3 in the near future.

that friday night meet is not one of our own. we are just joining up with a different group of people.
that hwy drive, dyno day and drag strip stuff i was speaking of were just suggestions for future meets.
also its on a sunday and in the seattle washington area. im pretty sure we arent going to make it to the one this weekend though. maybe we can shoot for the one on the end of march. i also think we should do some go karting!

i definitely cant go to the states this weekend and im sure its too short notice for most of us.
maybe we can try for the end of march and catch that march 29th test and tune.
anyways for now lets set a date for some karting.
i just checked their site and here is their schedule.
Monday to Thurs: $11 race heats all day.
Friday to Sunday: $20 for first race and $11 each additional race.
tuesdays they also have a super sprint at 8pm, which is 30+ mins of races and it costs $40 per driver.
on wednesdays its buy 2 races get one free.
thursdays has the one hour enduro at 9pm (registration at 8pm) and its $75/ team. (really tiring but so much fun!)
lastly, on sunday they have $10/ race from 6pm till closing.
i guess the other option is to make our own private track reservation but that might be a lot of hassle.
Lets pick a day! (i cant go tomorrow though)
