sweet. my complete brakeset came in today from MB Ft. Lauderdale. Total cost was roughly $600 USD and here is a list of what I got:
- set of front rotors
- set of rear rotors
- set of pad wear sensors
- 4 sets of brake pads
I was asked to replace my front rotors a month ago and the prices for the parts was quite high here. After a little research and with the help of my American friend, here they are! Probably saved me over 40%. The hardest part was arranging for someone in the US to purchase it for me and have the parts sent to their house. The dealer will not accept a cc outside of the US.

Got any photos of the hardware?

AAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
That made my day at work! Thanks David
BTW, Who is going to show their AMG on the 28th? Im going to get there early to try and find a nice double wide spot for both cars. Finally an excuse to set aside a weekend to cut polish my car this summer!
I just spoke to Rolf, one of the coordinators, and the entry fee is $10 plus a food donation.

he can give u a parts and price list and hook u up with the OEM parts u need.
hes helped me out a few times already and his prices are good.
ill also be getting my rotors and pads from him as well. much cheaper than the dealer.
also if you are going through all that to get the parts, then dont bother having them installed at the dealer. its just a simple brake job so almost any shop can do it. go to advance!

I know, but I couldn't be bothered with going to a shop or deal with warranty issues if i use someone else. After my warranty expires i will no longer do nay work at the dealer. My apt is already setup for tmrw morning.
