Black out door window trim?
Good Afternoon and Happy New Year!!
I have noticed that a number of pics posted have had the chrome trim around the door windows blacked out. Are you having them removed and painted? Black tape or vinyl? Just needed some suggestions? Does anyone offer a kit or what about carbon fiber vinyl? I have a local sign maker that offers carbon fiber looking vinyl. Thank you for your help.

I am also VERY interested in this information. The E90post BMW forum had a number of owners using the vinyl sheets. There were no kits that I am aware of, but the vinyl comes in rolls from e-bay. Some had recommended a particular brand of vinyl, 3M was one. I wonder what the re-attachment issues would be with the paint option, are the fasteners one use only, etc.?
