C63 issues?
I had a few electrical problems in the first 1,000 miles. First it was a headlamp error display; then they thought it was a light sensor (behind the rearview mirror). They finally replaced a faulty fuse box.
I now have 3,800 miles on it and recently got a service message that the cruise control is inoperable. However, after restarting - msg gone. Cruise works fine.
Today, I saw: Check engine oil at next fuel fill up. (Oil level fine)
Additionally, I smell exhaust when the sunroof is opened.
Does anyone experience these issues?
Ron
Have had the Cruise Control not operative messages a few times but as others have said the messsage goes away and is not there the next time i start up
Re Oil i have had to top up once so far about 3500 miles it had used approx 1 litre of oil
Other than that fingers crossed

Not that I ever use CC, but I was still like WTF??Also, changed my oil a few weeks ago after getting the Check Engine Oil Level msg twice.
Haven't gotten it again, so I too am keeping my fingers crossed...
I had a Check Engine light at just 60 miles, brand new -- bad cam position sensor, easy fix at the dealer, got an E350 loaner.
The car has been flawless since then. I had the dealer change the oil at about 1500 miles, and again last week at 6900 miles. I had checked the oil and it was reading toward the low end of the range after 5500 miles on that oil. (note: I have to pull and wipe the dipstick 3 times to get an accurate reading, and it seems to only read on one side of the dipstick, not a problem, just an observation)
I let my cousins who have an E46 M3 drive my C63 last weekend and they were blown away by the sound and the torque. Trying to convert another bimmerhead to AMG!
Also, switching from C63 down to C300 - it was almost undrivable. Could barely tell if the engine had turned on at startup.
APE: I have that same "front pop" noise occasionally when I first pull the car out the garage, but hadn't thought much of it...
