Anybody run Renntech Stage 2 ECU

Yes, this would make the tune worth the extra $$ over someone like Kleemann. But w/o some added features I don't see how I can pay $3500 for almost the same tune I can get for $1500 from another vendor.

Im still trying to figure out how someone can charge this much for an ECU tune. I used to be in the performance business (mustang/corvette side) and the most we could get for a "custom" dyno tune was $600 (plus the cost of the handheld tuner $400). It just seems to me that the cost is somewhat reflective of the original cost of the car. I think Kleeman should have the market covered up with them being so much cheaper than the competition and still giving equal results (albeit 5-8hp less which can be made up by the driver mod).

GT-R, C63 long gone:'( 2013-GL350 - Gone, GLC43 On The Way
Cobb out of Utah sells Accessports for under $1000 for GT-R's and under $700 for Subaru's etc. No need to send anything in and comes with Stage 1 (stock car) and 2 (for cars with exhausts) and Valet modes already installed. Can be custom tuned at quite a few shops around North America and by email as well. I would love to see this for when my C63 comes as well.

Trey (Cobb) is not doing ME97s......
Most people need to generate a return. Do 10,000 mustangs and you need to make X per car. Do 200 C63s and you need to make Y per car. In addition, the amount of work that must be amortized is not the same. There is a bit more in the ME97s. Rumor has it that the Corvette guys will soon be learning this.

Yeah their prices are absurd. From their site ...
"Valentine One radar detector fully-integrated into rearview mirror $3495"
That's $499 for the unit (which can be bought anywhere) and $3,000 in labor!!
Just to install a radar-detector?!
Somebody is making a lot of cheese...
