Widest wheel and tires

It's about time to replace the rear tires already. So...
Just wondering who fitted the widest wheel and tires on the back?
Also, what kinda camber setting did you get if it's a custom alignment with the tire?
*personal experience only please, also, precise numbers please !

if you go 245/275 setup for 19's is it the same profile as the 245/285 combo mentioned above?

245/35/19 275/30/19?

IMO, car does not have initial front bite. Needs more rubber and more camber upfront to sort out some of its handling issues.

CLK 500(Gone), C63 FTW!
I just ordered Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 265/35/18 for rear.

And it's as wide as 275 (that was the disc tire guy said).

Is it possible to use 285 for rear, using the stock wheel??

I'm almost certain 275 would fit with little to maybe no rub at all. But i dont think 285 would fit without rubbing... I'm running 265 in the back and its almost rubbing in the inner spots...

If anyone is running 275/285 on the back with stock wheels. Please post pics!

Resonator delete with X-Pipe or 2 straight pipes? I was thinking of doing the same, but heard it doesn't do much for sound.

No rubbing
So no rubbing even lock to lock? All that tire fits under the fender wells with out sticking out? Is your car stock ride height, lowered or have the full performance package? I so the first pics you had but they were low res. I would like to see higher res pics from better angle that show the wheel figment.

I think that is because you have installed the springs (H&R) That is probably why its almost rubbing.

OPM GT3 Is running 285 in the back on 19"s and not rubbing and I think he has OEM springs

I think he meant the 265 sizes like a 275 or they run big.
