Well I went to renew the registration on one of my other cars today and just out of curiosity I decided to check how many fines I got on the C63, I wasnt too worried since Ive only had the thing a few months!

Turns out that I had over 1500$ in fines!

What about you guys? How much have you paid out on fines since uve had the beast

From your username, I'm assuming you're in UAE? You should buy a passport 9500ix. It allows you to download the locations of radar cameras in your area! It will alert you whenever you approach them, therefore enabling you to slow down before reaching them. They only cost $500, and according to your already cumulated fines, it would be a definet investment to get one!!

Ya the radar detectors, I tried them a few years ago but they didnt work are you sure they will work over here?

 

The radar detector I mentioned has a GPS feature built into it, so unlike other detectors that rely on catching the faint radar signal out of the radar cameras, which is usually too late of an alert once it's detected, the 9500ix alerts you ahead of time based on your location.

To be honest with you, I'm not sure it has the UAE map loaded on it. I know it has the US for sure, and that’s obviously useless for you. You should call or e-mail their customer service to inquire about whether the GPS feature works or not in your area.
