Clear side-markers

I've just purchased a new 2009 C63, white/tan, and this first thing I'm going to do is replace those hideous orange side markers with clear side markers. I've seen postings before about this but would like to identify the highest quality clear side markers available. I've seen the ones on ebay but for $40 a set, are these the best? Are there other companies that offer this product? Any help or advise would be appreciated.

The ones on ebay by goodstuffs and fishcakes are the originals. I know, because I was the first person in the US to have clear markers and my car is their ad. There is another seller, but I do not believe the product quality is as high. They don't really look as good either. As far as know, there are no others. I believe any clear markers you see were purchased from ebay sellers.

I bought a pair from 9555519. I have no idea if they are "original" or not though. How can I check?

They are still sitting on my shelf until I get the courage to install them. I'm not very mechanically inclined.

Anyone know of any "how-to" guides out there?

it's an easy install and takes all of maybe half hour. There's already a lengthy install guide on the non-amg 204 forum section. Do a search.

I really love the car in white but I'm just so scared it'll get screwed up so quick. With all the rocks flying around on the highway and how hard will I have to work to keep it clean. Sooooo tempted to get white but just can't go through with it. Maybe you can help me on this. Is it much harder to keep not just clean but scratchless compared to other colours?

Just get a clear bra. Full wrap and not one of those precuts.

I ordered mine from a board sponsor: https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...-shipping.html.

Top notch service, fast shipping and OEM parts at a reasonable price. Can't beat that.

These are the sellers that share the same product. My car is in the first ad:

Could you tell me the specs and/or where to buy the chrome silver bulbs by chance please? Thanks.

I believe one of the sellers includes the silver bulbs. You can ask him. I think he was including them in the early sets.

I would recommend the smoke instead of the clear because the smoke ones match the headlights on the C63. I ordered on eBay and am very pleased.

Yup, I ordered the same ones and they're perfect and came with a silver bulb too, not the tacky yellow ones.

Morro, dont mean to scare you of white, it is just a little more work to maintain, but who cares, pay the pros every six months to clay bar the car and any spots are gone.
