Holy Crap, mirror goes crazy!
Just got car for 2 weeks, already got 1500 kms on it. I noticed that the reverse function for the mirror when I shift to R didn't work really well, sometimes worked, sometimes not, carp, today, when I shift it to R, the mirrors reverse UPWARDS....I can't see anything, interesting....

yeaa Aussie ones don't have them as well.
But I've never liked that function anyway on the merc.
It makes it more of a hassle.... sometimes it goes down, but it doesn't come back up when you put it back into D, or if u put it back into P and turn engine off too quickly.
Then next time, its still down :S
Had experienced this on multiple CLKs...so i ended up turning it off >< ><

yeaa Aussie ones don't have them as well.
But I've never liked that function anyway on the merc.
It makes it more of a hassle.... sometimes it goes down, but it doesn't come back up when you put it back into D, or if u put it back into P and turn engine off too quickly.

The tilt-down function on my car works flawlessly. I particularly like the way the mirror does NOT tilt down if I drive fast while in reverse as the car knows I'm not trying to park the car, and therefore will remain in its normal position in order to provide greater visibility to the rear.
Pretty clever, I must say.
