I just installed tinted side markers on my C63, and left the stock bulb in, but the stock bulb turns out a yellowish color. I want something that will match my headlights. Any recommendations? (I think the bulb is a W5W)

You have two options.

A) You can buy a can of high-heat resistant silver spray paint and coat he stock bulbs.

B) You can buy "silver" bulbs that blink amber when illuminated.

If you go the spray paint route, make sure you coat both bulbs equally. I didn't and one of my bulbs now looks a little brighter than the other. I think I'm just going to break down and buy the silver bulbs off of eBay.

Not sure if anyone can recommend a seller. I think they run $10/pair shipped off of eBay if I remember correctly from the other threads.

heres what i was using on my S...it is the silver coated bulb that blends in during the day, but once it turns on it illuminates amber.

Thanks for the responses guys. Maybe I wasn't clear, but I'm looking for a hyper white bulb replacement basically to match the high beam color. Does anyone know where to get one?

A friend gave me some leftover "hyperwhite" bulbs he had from his maxima and the size looks to match the orange bulbs that came with the tinted sidemarkers. They also both say "12v5w" on each bulb so I have a feeling they will work but I have yet to put them in yet. I'll be sure to update when I get around to installing them
