NEWB QUESTIONS ABOUT CARS...

I have some general questions about performance cars that i'm sure some of you can fill in the gaps in my general understanding:

Headers connect to the manifold. Cats are between headers and mufflers...

Our car has two stages of cats--why? Also, cats have different ratings, but what does that mean exactly? Higher flow cats provide better performance but put out more pollution?

What exactly are long tubes and what benefit do they have for performance exhaust?

What is throttle blip?
