That's a great example of the look I'm after. Those splitters look like they are molded into the bumper. I'd love a less expensive alternative.

There are tons of photos of the Kicherer C63 here -> http://www.seriouswheels.com/cars/20...Supersport.htm

If you come out with splitters something along the lines of these Schnitzer items, i.e., with a similarly aggresive visual effect and a highly precise fitment for a totally flushed-in look, I am a buyer for the first pair, guaranteed. I'd much rather go splitter than lip.

I would love to make my car like DTM car. Carbon: Hood with vents, fenders, wide rear fenders, DTM looking front bumper (replace the whole front bumper), carbon trunks, etc.

The front fenders are made from Aluminum so there is not much weight saving if you get them in CF.
And what do you mean by DTM car? You mean like the Safety Car or Medical Car?
OR You actually think about super wide body with a thousand of different tunnels, spoilers, air vents, diffusers and other things.
The reason I ask is: Safety car (or Medical Car) bumper (w/o fog light) looks really nice. It would be a very unique mod (even if it is not made in CF) but the DTM bumper would looks absolutely stupid IMHO
You were also writing about some company in Germany where a friend of yours made cf roof, doors, hood, trunk etc. Can you ask your friend about his budget (if he doesn't mind).
If you are a Carbon Fiber'holic you should try CF wrap. I have seen a couple of cars wrapped in CF film and it does look really nice.

I would love to have a CF hood, roof, trunk lid. I think that those 3 parts will shave a good 150 - 175 lbs off and you would be able to feel that. Specially the roof. The weight will move lower which will give more control and feel. Just my .02

Contact Domink Bahn at Team CCD. He has CF roof, trunk, etc. He is making one C63 to compete in real track race right now.

SPLITTERS?! WHAT?! 8)

Unless they're engineered and aero tested to do something useful, what's the point of making the car easier to scratch on speed bumps!

+1 for wide rears

Hi.I have a w204 c220 cdi and i ve bought an OEM C63 AMG front bumper and this bumper doesn't fit with the fenders. My question is if i buy the fenders do i need something else ? hood ,doors? Or it will fit nice only with the fenders.
I am from Romania(Member of European Union) and here the fenders are around 1000$(that's tooooo expensive sor some metal...does somebody know where i can buy them from US and shipped them to Romania??
