New Limited Edition C63AMG (Edition 63)
Mercedes has announced a new limited edition C 63 AMG - Edition 63 for the Australian market.
While the exterior looks virtually identical to the standard C 63 AMG, the Edition 63s boast unique 19-inch DTM-style alloy wheels, three exclusive color choices (Platinum Black, Mystic White, and Allanite Grey), and dark tinted privacy glass fitted to estate models.
Inside, the interior receives a number of exclusive design touches including two unique upholstery colors (designo sand or designo classic red), extended black leather appointments with contrast stitching, illuminated door sills, AMG floor mats, and an AMG shifter.
The only performance upgrade is the addition of an AMG locking differential, which optimizes rear grip when accelerating out of turns.
Like all C 63 AMGs, the Edition 63s are powered by a 6.3-liter (6208cc) V8 engine that produces 336kW (451hp) and 600Nm of torque. This enables the sedan to rocket from 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, while the estate takes 4.6 seconds.
Production will be limited to 63 units, and prices start at $169,900 AUD (172,900 AUD for the estate).
