I noticed when I have my lights turned, but NOT my fogs, they seem to come on, one by one, depending the direction I am turning. I dont know how else to explain this, but if I am backing up and turning right, the right fog light comes on, once I turn left, the left fog light comes on. What is this? and is there a way to turn it off?

I believe the dealer can somehow disable this but i am not sure. Yes the foglights will turn on on the direction you turn the wheel when your headlights are on or even when they are off on AUTO (not sure). I think the only way to stop this would be to either turn everything off not even on auto or basically turn both headlights and foglights on. I dont like this either and it does annoy me at times but i just keep top and bottom on all the time.

just drive with your foglights on and you won't have that problem.

You can turn it off thru the command settings on the steering wheel that come up thru the center dial on the dash.
scroll thru settings- lighting, you will find how to disable it.
Note that this lighting feature will only work under a certain speed.

The corner illuminating fog lights are also disabled if you turn off the daytime running lights through the command settings.
