Another funny thing :
I think he is running Hamman rims. Hamman is known as a very serious BMW tuner in Europe (and Russia as well) http://www.hamann-motorsport.de/958.0.html?&L=1
Maybe the owner switched to BMW from Audi, but still has the BMW "Ultimate Driving Machine" felling? As someone here said, BMW are much more respected in Russia then Audis.

Russians refer to 5 series BMW as "The 5" 3 series as "The 3" 850 or 8 series "The 8"etc
The same thing goes with Audi, A4 - "The 4" A6 - "The 6" R8 - "The 8"
So "The 8" AUDI = "The 8" BMW
Just my 2 rubles (Russian currency)
And also they kind of look very similar. Large, sporty coupes witha lot of power.
