who has hit the speed limiter?

Propain I know you speed so i know you have the testosterone. if you can tell me any track within 200 miles of me that i can book time on please let me know, i will go. look up bi-polar when you get a chance and you will understand my need for speed a little better. And i don't run much over the speed limit in traffic. i do it when i have literally miles of open highway ahead of me, thats why i cant get to the 174 number. we both know the car can do it.

If you've been driving for 31 years, that makes you almost 50 years old. If you don't know any better by now, you're almost certainly a lost cause.
Oh, and of course I speed. However, there is a huge difference between going 75 in a 65 and doing 150 in a 65.

hmm, my big boat s-class will still do 130mph, and thats easily enough to kill myself and several others.

BTW I don't consider SPEEDING to be "racing" unless you're actually competitively racing someone on the street. That is stupid and something I also do not condone.
Opening up a beast of a car into the mid-100mph range on an empty freeway isn't "racing" IMO. The pace at which you can hit 140-160mph in an AMG is so quick, you can get there and be back down to 75mph in no time flat. I've driven 150 on So Cal empty freeways before and never seen a soul.
I'm sure your point about "track driving" has been made so please spare us the repeat.

Look a 450bhp car still takes quite some time to get to 160mph. And considering how quickly you are covering ground at 160mph, even at full braking capability, you will cover a hell of a lot of distance.
Racing or not, its extremely dangerous.
Finally, if even 1 person thinks again before doing one of these banzai runs, getting a hard time from a bunch of people is worth it.

as soon as the situation arises where i am alone on open freeway i'm going to try to hit my limiter (174) but as soon as i see traffic in front of me i will shut down. Thats why in the two months i've had the car i've only been able to get to 146.

great run, i bet your car would hit 205 if she had more to give like you said. evo may be worth a look for me if they have anything with 200 miles of me.
