Hi everyone,

I had a 2010 C300 as a loaner today. After I connected my ipod to its headunit, surprisingly, I could navigate through my ipod by using the knob, and ipod menu is shown on the navigation screen. I can even see Chinese characters on the screen, they used to be just squares. There are other small changes that i haven't noticed.

I'm just wondering if there is an update to my 09 c63 command system? if so, is it free to let the dealer to update it for me?

From my past experience trying to get Command updated I would say no. I have been trying for the last few services and it is always the same, no update available even though I know that two updates (at least) ,have been made since my car left Breman. Good luck to you.

Just got my command updated free of charge. Had to take it in for my 1000 mile oil change.

how did you have them updated your command firmware?

i asked the dealership(rallyeMB long island), they told me that 09 and 10 models have different serial numbers. therefore, they cannot update my 09 command system firmware...

 

Please let all the guys know how this worked out

 

yea my iPod is my main music source and this update would be awsome...let us know how you got the dealer to do it.
