nappa leather designo picts
hello
my dealer just received my C63 and i thought some people could be interested to see pict of it as i didn't see a lot of designo leather here.
principal options are PTS, phone, HSD, comand dvd, ILS, 19', harman kardon, keyless, pack carbone, memory pack and many others little things but no performance pack i didn't wanted for confort purpose
the paint is designo mystic white
the leather is napa designo hand made from the amg performance center with standard carbon option
i am not used to forums so sorry if i forgot something or doesn't fully respect the rules...

Very nice. Couple questions: Is the exterior paint the standard white or something different. If so, how is it different....pearl, metallic??? Also, how much extra is the Designo leather option. It looks wonderful, but knowing Benz it probably doesn't come cheap. Also, knowing how much the dealers love to load up the AMG cars with options I'm surprised I haven't seen more of these at dealers. Does it have to be a customer order rather than a dealer order?

The vendor said me the performance center was totally overbooked with crazy desires from russian and chinese customers. Average time is 4 month for a full hand made leather. Maybe it is why they don't use this option a lot.
this option is more than 10 000 euros for a sl from what i know but "just" 4500 euros in the case of my C (added to the 2500 euros nappa option). But for this price, you have the same leather than in a SLS or SLR, so it worth the price from my point of view...
The special paint is 4500 euros too. this is a standard white but with lot more layers of glaze (or gloss ? sorry for my english) and a little spangle effect. You can't miss it compared to a standard mercedes white... But it is not pearl effect like on italian cars. A true white but more deep.
hope i answer your questions. I can try to make better photos next week when i have the car in my garage (i have to wait for the papers from administration a few more days before i can take it from the dealer and play with it

no, neither carbon finish or designo leather concerns the steering wheel. This is a different and independant option at least in my country... MB knows how to make us spend our money

but for my budget, i prefer a 100% optioned little car than an average, not personalised big car, especially when german cars come with so ridiculous options (who thinks porsche ?
).
it would have reached 100K with the performance package i guess. Close to the price of an XKR wich is almost 100% optioned from start. But jaguar is not amg so no regrets

i will do macro photos of the paint when i have the car next week (can't wait)
