C63 with racing GT Wing
I put on racing GT wing on my C63. I want to race on track so I think that this well really help for down force on the car. I well be racing with M3, GTR, etc.
This GT Wing is specially made for C63 by company called Voltex.
I hope that people like it. Im tring to make my car to look like DTM car.

OMG...you just RUINED your $70,000 (USD) Mercedes Benz C63 AMG!!!!!!!!!!!! I think your mommy or daddy should take that car away from you and give you a 1998 Honda Civic to drive...at least you'll have that "V-TEC Just Kicked In Yo" thing going for 'ya.
You obviously do not deserve to drive an AMG!

It is kind of not normal thing to do with Mercedes Benz AMG. I can understand peoples comments. But just needed some down force on the track. It is huge difference. This is just use on the track.

all of the ignorant comments are pointless. if you read into it more you will notice that the car will be used at the track where he will benefit from having the wing. that wing cost more than a 98 civic also. if you dont like it that is your problem not his so no need to talk ****.

GT Wings suck regardless. I don't care what you drive or where you drive it, that looks dumb. Not to mention, if you didn't do anything for front end downforce then all you just did was completely ruin the balance of the car.
Here's what confounds me about people who modify the aerodynamics of their car: Who knows more, the grease monkey drilling holes in your decklid to attach that CF monstrosity, or the team of Germans with degrees from MIT who wind tunnel tested the C63?? You do realize that the car was tested on the Nurburgring right?

Having road raced my C63 for the first time last weekend at Roebling I can strongly say it needs it. As for the factory aerodynamics and adding down force Dodge offers the ACR version of the Viper and Nissan offers different wings for the rear of the GTR. The factory does a great job but they do not anticipate us using the car for track purposes. The factory builds for street use concerning tires and suspension but there are suspension upgrades and tire upgrades for track use. I think its great for a weekend track purpose. Don't think I would use it every day but I can see the benefits on the track.

Can you easilly remove it when you are on the streets and plug the holes with some removable plugs? I would say most people will not do that to their AMG. But then again, the car culture in your country, Japan, is different than here in the USA for the most part.

Delete this post. Remove all the chrome from your car. Carbon Fiber everything but the tires, black out the entire car so it’s one big black cube and come back and post the pics. That’s the only way you will get a compliment on this forum.
Seriously though, the people on this forum will rip this post apart.

He says he wants to use it to race on the track so nothing wrong at all with wanting a bit more downforce. Looking closely, you can see that the wing can easily be taking off for street application and screwed back on for track. But if you're serious about adding downforce, don't neglect the front end as well.
Most here will bash you on reflex just because of the aesthetic look, but don't give much thought to the performance aspect for track application.

Yup, looks like 8 screws and its off. Probably has plugs to cover the screw holes as well.

Voltex builds pretty decent stuff-dont let the non-track guys around here **** you off-most dont like the looks of the wing-and they certainly dont understand the purpose of it. Check out APR in Cali (you'll see my old RR in there photo section) as well-they did some nice custom work for me on my Evo X a year back. Def look at a front splitter and canards if you are doing any HPDE stuff-turn in isnt bad stock-but you'd be amazed at what adj front end lift can do for you-
let us know how the tracking goes! (glad you're using it!)

C63 AMG Arctic w/ Stage 1 Tune, DoubleXX pipe, MCD-631X coming soon
Hiroshi, no disrespect, however in this AMG community, this wing will never be accepted. I know Voltex, they are a very good company, however suited for Silvia, GT-R, and those types of cars. It is my opinion that if you need lots of downforce at the rear, is your car really that modified that you will need this sort of added downforce just at the rear? If not, and it's just for looks, I agree with the others here, it is unsuitable for the C63.
