Replica Wheels for the C63
Hey gang.
What did the 2008 crew do for winter rims last year
?
I've reached out to a number of vendors - and but for Discount Tire Direct - there do not appear to be any replicas w/ the C63's high offset.
If you've had luck elsewhere please chime in.

Tirerack sells an inexpensive wheel for the car. They are 19s. They actually look good. I bought an extra front and rear. I take them to the track with me as I travel a long distance. The weigh 30lbs upfront and 29 in the back. the offer those and very expensive Forged 3 piece OZ.

Any thoughts on whether 18" VMR VB3's (18 x 8.5 ET 45) will fit w/ stock tire sizes?
http://www.1010tires.com/wheel.asp?w...etal&pc=V13101
The tirerack calculator shows
FRONT - 6mm LESS clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 6mm
REAR - 15mm MORE clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 3mm
So the rear looks fine, but the front sort of scares me in both directions. Would be interested to hear from those folks with aftermarkets wheels what rim widths / offsets have worked without fender rubbing and brake clearance issues. Thx!

Just got my MSW's on and as stated above, on one wheel the wheel weights just tap the brake line on the caliper... Are there any other options to move these weights elsewhere?

I went with the plain MB crest but the blue one on yours looks great.
