Intel and MB
Looks like the 2012 MB C and S class may be getting an upgraded entertainment/nav "Infotainment" system based on the Intel atom processor. Connecting to the web/net via 3G being a focus.

Personally, I think the current MB system is already behind the times:
* IPOD integration is a joke
* MP3 management is poor
* Unable to transfer MP3's to the HDD (only ripping)
* Unable to play DivX or other popular codecs used for video (ie via USB flash or SD card)
* No Aux Video (how about some component inputs?)
* No RCA inputs
* No traffic monitoring
* Phone contacts near impossible to access quickly (or at all)
* PCMCIA is an unnecessary middleman to todays flash memory
The Nav system works well for me though....
