Take out the seondary and put a X pipe in...

that wont turn an engine light on.

You will need two to replace both cats.

Throttle seems quicker to me. I took out both rear cats and the resonator and replaced with an x-pipe (that is confidentially for sale), but then put the resonators back on and just took out the rears cats as it was too racey and loud the other way. The x-pipe with no rear cats and resonators seemed to give the best throttle response.
