Has anybody tried the Nokian tires?
I'm getting a recommendation to go with Nokian NRY for summer performance and more interestingly, Nokian WRG2 for winter. They're certainly nice looking and appear to be latest technology but I'm looking for real life experience validation here.

You're honestly going with a Nokian tire for summer performance? They specialize in winter tires so I guess you could get the WRG2 for your winter setup. But I see no reason why you would choose their summer tires above all. I also don't get why quite a few people on here put very cheap tires (Nexen, GT Champiro to name a few) on their C63s. Are you guys really burning through rubber that quickly?

Thanks for the feedback. I don't know these tires at all. I'm not at the stage of buying them, just want to hear if any of us have tried them. They actually seems to be a good option for winter combining performance and adapted to cold climate.

I had a winter (Hakkapeliitta) set on a Jeep GC about 8 years ago and they were excellent. Great in deep snow and ice and stood up so well that I ran them all year long. The only negative was they are expensive.
I see that the WRG2 are available in 235/40-18 and 245/40/18 for our cars. (With sufficient load index and speed rating) I need new snows for the rear anyway so instead I may be considering these for an all new set this winter.

The Nokian are also known as Hakkapaletas(sorry for spelling error), and had them on numerous cars for WINTER only, they are the best winter tire ever, I have tried Pirelli P210 WInters, DUnlop Sport winters and Pirelli WInter sports as well as others that I dont remember, anyway, if they offer these tires in our sizes, I would buy them for winter with no hesitation, they are amazing in deep snow, slush, and icy conditions, they are made in Sweden, and a very very popular tire choice in winter in europe. The Swedes and Finns love their rallying in snowy conditions and this tire is king there.

+1 on the Hakka's being the best winter tires out there. My brother runs them on his car all year round, which is lowered AND way off camber. The thing will run uphill in deep snow better than an Avalanche.
Nokian makes some good stuff.
