Angry Stolen license plate?

so i am utterly confused right now...im not even sure what emotion(s) im feeling..

i was at Pacific Palms Resort (hotel and golf course) in Industry Hills/City of Industry today, basically from 11:30am to 6pm.
In that time someone apparently stole the plates off the back of my car?!?!

I tend to park my car far away from others to avoid door dings and general stupidity but it may have cost me in this case...

i came back to my car after a miserable 18 holes to find my plate missing...its a custom plate and i had not cut the tags w/ a razor...

the rest of the car seems to be fine but i just dont understand...

anybody else had this happen to them? so now i have to file a police report and get to spend time at DMV resolving all this...incredible

Hmm, you stumped me.I would get a police report about it.If someone were to mount them on another MB of the same color (say C350) and be involved in some crime it could turn into a unnecessary headache for you.At least the report would confirm the theft of the plates/
