My buddy's C63 crashed, is it totaled?

A competent CERTIFIED repair shop can fix it. If he was able to open the door and step out-it isn't that bad. Almost ANY impact will tweak a unibody car, with todays technology it can be put right. I agree 100% bigbodybeeenz-get real- with insurance fraud being so aggressively investigated-"Making it a total loss"-kinda bull****, just doesn't happen like it used to.

Those pics should urge people to SLOW DOWN too.
Painful to see in that condition.I'm curious whether it was totaled or not. I'm guessing not.
FYI. slowing down doesn't substitute for paying attention.
Extensive damage, and once they pull back the layers and fully discover what really needs to be replaced, the bill could skyrocket easily.
Hurts just looking at it.
Driving a fast car slowly sucks. I hope heaven has a maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad super highway with massive straights and nice bends. And free fuel.
Sorry
i know but im having an annoying day at work.
I did get a deminished value check from All State for $5K and kept the car 4 more years. They did a fantastic job fixing it and it drove great at speeds up to 130 with no problems. I ended up trading the car in for my C63 and was only docked $800 from the trade-in value since the accident was in a store parking lot and did not show up on Carfax (I told them about it).
If you have engine damage I would think that it would push you over the top. I think it also depends on the Insurance Co. on how hard they fight to not total the car though...
They don't have an exact estimate yet but they're declaring it a total loss and FJ already sent the car to the total loss yard for AAA. Now we'll see how much AAA will pay for an almost new C63 as replacement cost. If it's a fair amount I'll switch to AAA myself.
