Just thought I'd update you guys. So AAA is amazing. looks like they forked over $64K for my buddy's car. He's supposed to go pick up the check tomorrow. Pretty f'ing amazing. He picked up an 08 CLS63 last week with 200 miles (never titled) for $40k off MSRP. So basically this accident worked out pretty well for him. Only messed up thing is he picked up one identical to mine in every way so now we have the exact same car.

most popular insurance co.s are pretty good about shelling out the cash
got a fender bender on the freeway once
other guys fault, insurance cut a $3500 check
I bought the old truck for only a grand
all I had to do was replace the fenders
