need something that gets more attention then my 63
Yep...the LS7 isn't going to be a good idea with boost, I'd say 4-7 lbs max; so it'd either be nitrous, serious heads/cam/bolt ons, or a different short block. You could probably get an LS7 up to 620-640 fwhp with H/C/I/bolt-ons while still be totally streetable. If cost was an option; you'd be better off starting with an LS3 "base" 'Vette...but it wouldn't have the appeal of the Z06 or ZR1.
Killer setup would be a used Z06 (only cause it's cheap) and a twin turbo LS3 or 454 LSX.

Personally, I love understated cars, that "blend in", but have that extra special nudge that make them reign supreme over most of the other examples of the same car you'd see on the road, along with being the ones that true car enthusiasts can distinguish and appreciate.
Fact is, regular folk wouldn't tell a difference between a regular C-Class and a C63. These are cars you buy for YOU to enjoy and appreciate the subtle differences (and monster performance) over Joe & Jane's regular C-Class you drive by.
My friend has a new M3, says he never gets looks by girls as they just think it's a regular 3-Series, but when he drives his regular SL550, he gets tons more attention.
You want an overstated attention *****? Get a GTR, a buddy of mine has one, driving around in that thing is akin to walking around butt naked.
Funny thing is he HATES the attention.

1. The exhaust note is probably louder and sportier than approx. 90% of most cars on the road; I get so many looks when I drive by ppl (and ppl in other cars), especially when I downshift with my paddle and get that incredible throttle blip which usually involves some deep, exhaust "burples." Some ppl would even say that the C63 AMG sounds like a racecar.
2. It's an AMG!
Anyone who knows cars knows what "AMG" represents, and that's not exactly "stealth;" more like..."hey, look at me...I drive an AMG."
FWIW, I had a little fun with a guy in a "Carlsson" CLS550 the other day. He saw me pull up behind him at a red light, and when the red light turned green, he gunned it (I guess he thought I was driving a C350???), but I did not play his game.
He thought he was HOT *****.
When I pulled up to the next light, I was sure to get next to him. He looked over to me, must have seen my side "6.3 AMG" badge, and when the light turned green I ever so slightly pulled away from him (not racing at all btw...just a little faster start
) making sure I got in front of him. From behind me, I guess he noticed my "C63" badge and quad AMG exhaust (which I'm sure he heard as well
), b/c he didn't even bother trying to run against me now that he knew what he was up against.

Got to say, blending in with the crowd is the best part for me...

"Damnnnn, is that a Lambo"
WTF

same day I was on the 405 just cruising to the beach and this Cayenne Turbo one lane over pulls up ahead of me going about 80 mph and this chick sticks half her body out of the rear window with a camera and starts taking pics......crazy stuff in one day.

Having a GTR is the one of the closest things to experiencing the Paparazzi blitz, without even being famous.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I think the best route is to keep your C63. It's an awesome car. If you really want attention, just buy headers and let the exhaust rip louder than before. Just let the exhaust note, engineering, and performance make the statement. I can't imagine it being stealthy at that point. But If you're serious about getting a 'vette in order to draw a crowd, keep this in mind: just like the average person wouldn't know the difference between a C350 and a C63, they wouldn't know the difference between a C6, C6 Z06, or even a C6 ZR1. They're all "Corvettes." That being said, I think one of the best routes out there is the following:
The 2010 Corvette Grand Sport model takes a regular C6, and from the factory adds the Z06 widebody, brakes, dry sump oil system, tires, and wheel sizes. It comes with the standard LS3, though, rated at 436hp. Here's where it gets interesting: Callaway Cars can then supercharge your car, giving it anywhere from 500 to over 600hp without voiding the warranty because Callaway has a comprehensive warranty deal worked out with GM. That way you get the custom (Callaway supercharger package) with all the supporting mods necessary from the factory (wider rubber, brakes).
Here's a Callaway Grand Sport Convertible:
The other thing that I'm surprised nobody mentioned is a Viper SRT-10. Those seem to draw a crowd wherever they go. And an ACR... that'll pull some looks:

And if that doesn't work, I know these always get attention:

Second, this may be one of the dumbest fukking threads ever and I suspect I may soon be calling 911 for alcohol poisoning if I have to read one more page of this dribble.
OP, please sell your C63, do not buy a GTR, have sex with your mom, videotape it, post it........... and then we will all notice you.
I also vote for a CLK BS, no way you can avoid turning heads in that thing, the damn fenders extend into the opposite lanes.
I get people chasing to get next to me, and have this bewildered look on their face. I just don't think anyone expects a Mercedes to sound like this. I thought it would **** people off, but surprisingly people seem to love it! But as I've said before, I KNOW there are people who thinks it's obnoxious, annoying, and immature...so I try to be respectful when I can.
Oh, another benefit, you can really send a message to the guy/gal poking along in the passing lane too

Honestly in my C63 I get at least 10 ppl turning their heads a day. And on top of that does it really matter? You tend to realize that most people don't care what you drive. Today they might see a C63 who knows what they'll see tomorrow, maybe a GTR

Take pride in what you drive, and that you were able to afford something like this and never forget what you have.
get a custom super muscle car from Barry White
http://www.supermusclecar.com/cars.html

or just buy one of the new hemi challengers and have it customized

I think that should get you plenty of attention, especially in the backwoods of AL.
