******Payment Information Update******

okay guys, it looks like the number of participants is leveling off. The payment will be $200 + $6 (PayPal fees) for a total of $206 per car

I just finished setting up the track payment account again. It's the same one as the one we used for our last event. Please send payment via PayPal to:

Please don't forget to include the following information:

1) Username (and which forum you belong to if not this one).
2) Car Make/Model/Mods you're going to use at the track.
3) Contact information in case of last minute updates (only if I don't have it already).

I will be meeting with the owner on November 16th. So, payment (and a list of participants) must be submitted no later than November 15th not before November 9th as previously stated in the first post. Sorry, the first post was written when the racing date was set to November 14th.

I'd be all over this if I were closer! Good to see C63 Guy will at least represent the C63 at this event. Can't wait for this to happen.

 

I know.... I'm surprised I'm not getting more C63 participation. And especially because this is a private event, one will be able to make as many passes as they like compared to a 7 hour wait for 3 runs on open night test n tune. Last time, I had 30+ passes in my car alone. This is a great opportunity to practice the launch, shifts, try different suspension setups, tire setups, test out mods, etc.... This is the time to really enjoy the car

By the way, MacGCU is signed-up as well.... actually, I think he's been signed up even way before Josh.

Sounds great! It'll be hard not to get into trouble on the drive up with you knowing our history...lol

And I'm so excited to get my car on the track and finally get some hard and fast numbers, pun intended. Anybody got a line on some drag radials in my size? I'd love to get a set of wheels like the ones Dads C63 has (or had). 5" wide fronts are so cool, and my new wheel/tire setup probably weighs close to stock again now that the fatties are in back.

Feeling very tired now.... I just got home, it's 2:15 a.m.

I want to THANK EVERYONE who participated in this event, as it was most definitely worth the effort and wait. Thanks for driving all the way to Famoso with your awesome machines and joining us in this wonderful event

As usual, some cars did good and some did bad. I'll try to summarize....

- As posted earlier, Sal ran a few 11.0x @ 126, then a couple of 10.9x @ 127 to 128 mph Sal, your car was absolutely phenomenal my friend

- Chris's Challenger couldn't break 10.30s due to to belt kept popping out but he his runs were spectacular as always

- We had two Mustangs that were running in the 9s throughout the day

- Ryan's C6 Z06 (headers/Cams/Tune) ran 10.4x @ 135.x mph

- Bolt-ons C6 Corvette ran 11.6x @ 12x mph..... Joel, it was a pleasure meeting you

- Steve's Jeep ran consistently in the mid 11s (naturally aspirated) and shocked a few cars

- Tony's S4 was very impressive going from 13.4 to 11.9x by just improving the launch and technique

- The Bently ran 12.8x @ 118 and I think it may have hit 12.7x as well

- The Porsche Carrera GT was finally able to dip into the 11.9s after a few 18 second runs

- There was a turbo truck that ran 10.90s @ 130 mph

- My car was not able to better the 12.4x @ 114.7 today no matter how many times we tried launching it

- The two CLSs were absolutely amazing down the track.....

- The 135 and 335 machines were absolutely amazing..... and have humbled a few AMGs at Famoso

- The bolts-on M3, specifically Drew's, was truly poetic at the track, he was able to drop down 12.0 and had traction been a little better, I have no doubt, his car would've hit 11s

- The three C63s were epic at the track: Mac, Phil, and Josh. All three kept improving and improving throughout the day with fantastic times although it was the first time to the drag strip with the C63 for all three of them. Josh, don't worry, we'll drop that baby into the 11s next time

- Last but not least, I want to thank Pyrun for all his efforts documenting this drag day and driving all the way out to Famoso to hang with us
