This past weekend was spent at Roebling. My daughter got to do a ride along for this session now she wants to trade her Altima for a Z car. Ron's Lambo sounds like an Indy car accelerating out of the pits at the beginning. The R888's produced some all time best lap times in the 1:25 to 1:26 range, about 3-4 seconds faster than I ran on Star Specs.

This track is actually very forgiving with lots of unwalled runoff around 90% of the track. It doesn't have the elevation changes or visual appeal of the marque venues but it suits heavy high horsepower cars pretty well.
The last two sessions I ran with the blue group which finished an hour earlier than the white. Got on the road sooner but had to deal with some lesser experienced drivers on the track. This video was also with this group you can imagine how the Superleggara driver must have felt. Kinda like giant slalom

MHP headers and no heat issues thanks to Mother Nature( 30 degrees cooler than when we were at Sebring.
one more clip from the other group....interesting collection of cars

Ran my C63 at Eastern Creek in Sydney, Australia. The track was very wet at the start of the day but started to dry out at the end of the day when I took these videos. Kept traction control on full because I was **** scared of something going wrong in the wet conditions!!!
I was very nervous since it was the first time I'd taken my c63 to the track and insurers won't have anything to do with track days down here. When you're putting a US $160K car on the track you're crapping your pants at first!! The last time I went to the track I did $37K worth of damage to my Nissan 350Z (long story and happy to elaborate) so that added to me being very nervous.
The videos look like I was going slow but to give you an idea I was hitting around 230km/h (144Mph) down the straight.
Anyway, here are the videos:

New lights in "old" car
I saw your post referring to the re-coding of the rear SAM to accept the 2012 taillights and I find I can order the lights from MBenz.nl now. But, without knowing what recoding is needed (and I know my US dealer would be no help) I am holding off with the order.
Can you help me?
Thanks,
Roger E./Seattle

U also can use the tails without encoding. But it looks a bit diffrent to mine when u put them on.
To make them work right u need someone who got the "Star Diagnostic Developer Software".
I don't know what the guy did to my SAM, I just paid and was happy
But I can ask him if he give me his email adress, maybe u can sent ur SAM over to him.
And he sent it back after encoding. But I don't know if it's possilbe to encode the SAM without the car :P

The quoted price from The Netherlands, including shipping to my door would be 400 Euros which is about twice what I paid them for the units I bought two years ago with yellow LED turn lights from the same source.
But, I would do it if and when I find out what to do with SAM programming.
