Phonebook, finally uploaded, but...

So, I finally got my PCMCIA card adapter from China. $0.99! haha

Anyway, I got my phonebook uploaded to the car, but the damn car lists everything Lastname, Firstname.

Anyway to change that? I don't want to go through all my contacts and flip them.

Comand has been a bit of a frustrating experience. All the mags complained about iDrive being **** in BMWs, but when it comes to phone integration, BMW > MB.

On the topic of phonebook, I upload mine from my Blackberry with the Bluetooth connection. Everything goes well for the first upload but my issue is when I want to update the existing phonebook. By following the same procedure, it duplicates all existing records. Is there anyway to delete the entire phonebook on COMAND so when I perform a new upload from my Blackberry, there is no more duplication? The only deletion function I found is record by record which is quite unpractical.

If I recall correctly, it is possible to delete all contacts in one go. I believe you do it through Settings rather than from any of the Phonebook sub-menus.

correct, you can do this by doing a reset, but will reset all setings.

Thanks guys. But does a reset also erase all the music copied on the hard drive and the radio memory?
