Not exactly. Now that I have your attention , here’s my point. A fully loaded C350 with similar options as a C63 is 51K. I was able to pick my CPO for 55K.
This is my first MB and AMG. I had a couple of vettes, E46 M3, 997S and S4 tuned. I have been following this forum for quite a while and here are a few comments on the car:
-The car was originally bought by a forum member Glockguru in New Orleans. I wonder what made him trade the car after only 9K??
-Amazing seats (better than any of my previous cars)
-Most powerful engine with great torque and sound is intoxicating
-7speedshift gearbox obviously smooth and better than 1st gen SMG but still a bit too slow for my taste. I cannot drop 2 gears quickly like I did with my M. Great tip from the forum that holding the gear lever to the left will switch to the lowest gear.
-Kudos to the engineer for the ESP Sport . It allows for quite a bit of spirited driving and drifting. This would have been a deal killer as far as I go if ESP Sport and Off was not available.
-I was able to get the dealer to put new Michelin Pilot Sport versus the OEM P Zeros and I am very happy with them. I already have 3K on them and they look brand new. You guys must have a very heavy foot for torching the rear tires in 5K miles.
-I am interested in tuning the car and read the many threads. I feel that aftermarket suppliers take advantage of the Mercedes name because there is no real explanation for the parts to cost three times as much as Audi tunes or Z06 headers. In that light, I would love for LET to come down to Florida for some tuning. (Jerry: are you listening) Any other forum members in Florida, please raise your hand.
-I need to uncork the engine for more sound and would like to arrange a meet to hear some of you guys set ups or just a nice lunch to talk about our rides (BlownS, BoostGomez, Most-Wanted, Sflgator or soldier2304 for example, please let me know if you are interested).

i dint read your whole post but here is something i got to the MCT part. yea we dont have that. we have the old speedashift 2 or something like that, the only cars that have MCT is the SLS and SL63

now finished reading. go meet up with DADC63 his got the fastest c63 in the world rite now.

No one in their right mind pays 51k for a C350.
I paid 29k + T&L. If there was only 4k difference between the two (even cpo) I'd be going through rear tires now myself.

Let us know what your tires are like @6k miles LOL. I thought mine still looked new at 3000km and then magically at 6500km they were toast. It is very easy to do with it in sport mode and with the ESP off. You'll see

You are probably right that the more I will get used to the car, the more I may vaporize the tires. Merry Xmas to every one
