Yes but it is more about compound durometer at lower temps. On my Es winters went on when we were not talking about 7C or less. I am talking about at temps of 15.
You got my point. No wall to flex hence no spring action.

Hey guys,
I've been looking for a set of wheels and keep seeing conflicting answers about fitment.

Roswell, I feel like you've tried all sorts of combos with wheels and might just be an expert in this field.

What I'm looking at...
19x8.5 ET35 w/ 245/35/19 DWS 06
19x9.5 ET45 w/ 275/30/19 DWS 06

Now by my calculations (someone correct me if I'm wrong), that setup should be 1.35mm less on the fender side.
One thing to consider is the narrower wheels will cause the tires not to stretch as much which could lead to more "poke".
I already own the set tires (brand new) so that's why I'm hoping they'l work.
If not, I suppose I could try and swap out the sizes.

Additional note: my car is not lowered.

Thanks for any help!

Question for all the fitment gurus. Ordered flow forged MRR FS01's 19x8.5 and 19x9.5. Wanted them in Gloss gunmetal ET 35 and ET50. They sent me black Gloss in error. These are going back and new set in Gloss gunmetal will be sent. Per MRR, they are recommending 38ET front and 45ET rears. Would I be able to swap my 245F and 275R super sports over with no rubbing? (Current set up is 35ET fronts and 50ET rears also 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 on stock suspension with super sports 245F/275R). Rears would stick out 5mm and fronts would be in 3mm from what I have now. Currently I have no rubbing issues. The 38ET front and 45ET rears are what MRR is recommending and they said they won't gaurantee fitment if I go with a different offset. I like my fitment now but unsure of the new offsets. Thoughts? Advise? Thank you ahead of time. (And yes I did search and read every single post I could) I think these should fit and likely won't rub with 265s in the rear. My question is will 275s fit? And are the recommended offsets ok or should I go with 50ET rear? May be an issue clearing the brakes with 50ET and that is why they are recommending 45ET?

The front should work fine as its similar to what I'm running right now & I'm lowered.

The rear is too aggressive with 275 on 19x9.5 +45. U should try 19x9.5 +50 or do 265/30/19.

Well at stock height it will work but be ready to rub on bumps & dips or with passengers in the car.

How can they send u the wrong finish? And how can they recommend u 19x9.5 +45 over 19x9.5 +50? Lol at them!

Both combos will fit but if u want to run 275 u are better with +50. Keep in mind the 19x9.5 +45 will be more concave though but u will have to sacrifice ur wider tires to a narrower one.

Can someone help me with these specs. I already have my winter tires 235/40/18 and 255/35/18.

I can get a set of wheels in these sizes

18x8.5+30 for front
18x9.5+35 for rear

I am lowered on h&r coilovers will this setup be okay with the tire size i mentioned? Dont want to roll or do much fender work I only have one passenger in car who sits in front never anyone in back.

Awesome setup. Would you mind sharing the offset and wheel/tire size? I am trying to go for the same look with zero rubbing if possible.

Thanks.

OK, I have questions and have been reading and looking at pics in this thread forever.

Stock height C63, dont plan on lowering.

Want to stick with 18" wheels but better offsets. running 235/265 Cont. DWS tires

Ive seen some of y'all running some pretty low offsets. Are you just cambering out the wheels to make them fit?

These are the wheels I am looking at.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/182146959825

http://www.ebay.com/itm/172219094334

Also if I wanted more concave look, would a 9.5 +40 work with stock suspension?

They will fit without rubbing 235/265's.

But the RS05RR faces will be weak in those sizes listed above. You will need aftermarket wide front and rear fenders to get the "GTR" deep concave faces on the front and rear.

As much as I like your set up, you have some crazy negative camber going there....what gives? Your off sets are way off...
