Looking at picking up a set of wheels front will be 19x8.5 et45 (235/35) and rear's running 19x10 et48 (275/30). Currently running on H&R springs. It appears those who are running this spring setup are fine running 19x10 et50 also running 275/30, with that being said if i run et48 that's 2mm closer to the rotors which means i shouldn't have any issues or do i have that reversed?

You have it backwards ET +48 is 2mm closer to the fender/quarter panel than ET +50. You may be able to run 275 lowered on H&R springs and you may not. May also depend on the tire shape being more square or rounded on the shoulder. You will also need a 10 to 12 mm spacer on the front to be flush.

I've been trying to sell my rims (sold the car) and have been getting a ton of "will they fit" questions so I'll ask the experts here for help!
They are Vossen VFS1's, 20x8.5 +44 and 20x10 +55. They fit on my C63 with spacers (I think I had a 3mm and 5mm spacer for back/front).
Can you help me find out if they fit both the w211 and also the w216 (08 cl63)? I'm pretty sure they fit both but might need spacers...
Oh man. Those look perfect on your car. Very subtle and tasteful. Well done. I love the FF wheels from HRE. I just wish they allowed for a wider tire out back. I would like a 265 or 275.
They do, I have the FF15 with 275 Michelin PSS in the back.

Not to disagree with you, but from what I've researched, that is incorrect. The +48 is closer to the center than +50. Can you please site your source of reference? Here's a video that substantiate what I've seen through multiple sites.

He posted just what that link says, I think you might be misunderstanding the link. A +0 offset is lots of poke outside the fenders. A +50 is tucked inside the wheel wells.

Again, maybe its work that's destroying my ability to comprehend this apparently simple thing, lol. Zero"0" offset is dead center middle of the wheel , anything in the positive "+" direction is moving towards the outside/curbside/fender side which ever one makes sense to you. Any number in the negative "-" is moving towards the inside of the vehicle, correct. So ideally you would want the lowest number that will fit to avoid rubbing the fender correct? So a +48 offset will be closer to the inside hub vs a +50 offset, so if i can find a 19x10 that has a lower offset +48 vs +50 i would want the lower number.

Fact, if both wheels are the exact same width, the +48 offset will be closer to the fender/outside of car, or “more aggressive” in its attempt at being flush, the +50 will be more conservative as it relates to “being flush”

Try this site to see if it helps you visualize what is happening. Look at the picture in the example that comes up. I set the wheel size in both existing and new to be the same and the existing offset to +40mm and the new offset to a smaller +20mm. The large difference in offsets will make it easier to see the difference. You will see the smaller numeric positive offset is more aggressive and the wheel is pushed out closer to the fender. The new setup is highlighted in green in the picture and shows the wheel pokes out 20mm more toward the fender.

this is my 1st post in the C63 forum. My wife just bought me a 15 C63 for my birthday. I'm currently still in my W208 CLK55 which has Monoblock VI's. I've found a set of 19's 8.5 & 9.5. ET is 45 on both front & rear.
does anyone have any experience with monoblock on C63's. I just need to be 100% before I buy these. I've been reading forums for 3 days but can't find any one running monoblock's
I'm not planning on dropping or any mods other than red calipers to match the interior
Or is anyone running 19 9.5 ET 45 on the rear?? Issues??

We would recommend holding off on buying and saving a little bit more to get into some HRE FlowForm wheels. They start at $625 per wheel and the top level quality wheel in this price range.

As much as I long for a new set of HRE's I can't afford them at the moment... I may wait and save up, but these came up for a really good price, (1000$ CAD) and condition is 9/10

With M.B. you can’t go wrong with silver. With the way the color shifts from Black to Blue to Gray silver looks perfect in any light.

Whats up all, got a quick question and just when I thought I had it all figured out I got a curve ball.
Going with BC Forged wheels, they replied to me with this:BC Forged replied with this:
On a W204 chassis C63 the specs provided would sit flush on a lowered car but would require stretched tires and/or the rear fenders to be rolled. If the car is stock ride height with non stretched tires I would suggest scaling the setup back to around a 8.5 +40 and 10 +57 to +55 rear
The specs I asked was 18x9 ET 40 and 18x10 ET 50. Was I way wrong on my calculations, how can 19" wheels sit flush and fine like that but 18's can't?
