I just ordered a set of adv1 5.0 TF 18x8.5, 18x9.5, what size tires should I run on it? I want 275 in the back and I think theres only (for PSS) 275/30 but the front theres 245/35, 245/40 I think...whats the better combo?

also would be speedometer be off with that the new wheels/tires?

sorry for the noob questions!

Great choice on the wheels! I can see ur going with a reputable company afterall.

As for the tires, I think 245/40/18f & 275/35/18r would be ur best combo.. But not sure which brand offer this sizing (?).

Post pics when u get them!!

Exactly what we thought. Maybe he's after performance more than looks? We had a few 18" requests from C63 customers lately, seems like a trend is starting.

yep I want to fit more tire on there and I like the meaty tire look.

I know my wheels will have a lip so it might look small...idk, I'll give it a try.

The yellow car in the background is an old HSV, therefore the C63 is an Aussie car with OEM rims.

sjhugh / Steven, I hate You.
But I love your C93's. Spectacular.

BTW how does Your dog stand the Australian heat?

And the wheels on the BOCA car look like ADVAN F15 to me.

Not really, if you choose the right design, go with a flat lip, it won't look small. We did this setup for a drag strip going Corvette some time ago, something like that would look cool on a smaller car like teh C63 no doubt.

Like most dogs in northern Australia, the only time he spends in the sun is when he’s going from one shady spot to another. He's also lucky, he gets a sea breeze which helps keep him cool.

I looked that BOCA car up and you are right, they are ADVAN F15’s.
You’ve got great spotters eyes for detail, I only took a basic look and thought no further than OEM.
They look particularly good side on.

Nice look, but are the wheels in the back smaller or does it just seem that way

Yeah they are. This is a drag setup, with smaller rear wheels and more, stickier tire in the rear, providing additional grip with this Corvette pulling a ton of HP on the rear wheels.

[QUOTE=noodleman;5249594]Thanks! Specs are as follows:

Front 19x9 +40 "R-Disc" with Michelin PSS 235/35/19
Rears 19x10 +53 "A-Disc" with Michelin PSS 265/30/19

There's like an inch gap between the spokes and calipers, so i actually could have gone with a smaller backpad to get more lip. Live and learn i guess.

i love this look. im thinking about getting the exact same polished face with polished lip for my 2009 obsidian black c63.

I would like your help with what size you would have gone with to get more lip?

your help is greatly appreciated. also what you think about the polished wheel on the obsidian black?

Some beautiful wheels on here guys! I've never trust aftermarket brands to be honest but I may have to give them a second thought now :P

Anyone know width and offset of the c63 black edition coupe on the HRE website gallery with the P44SC's? Are the black series and standard c63 coupe the same as far as the fender flare width?

They're completely different. The BS runs an E Class rear axle, and it can fit a 10" wheel in front.

Thanks, thought the BS fenders looked a bit wider than the standard coupe. Search is on for what offsets the standard c63 coupe can run. Always seems to be the hardest thing to find when searching for wheels.

You would prob be better off making a thread as this is an aftermarket wheel thread and this has nothing to do with aftermarket wheels
